French Stocks: Belvedere, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole Are Active in Paris

France’s CAC 40 Index fell 23.07, or 0.6 percent, to 3,587.84. The SBF 120 Index declined 0.8 percent.

The following shares are among the most active in the French equity market. Stock symbols are in parentheses after company names.

Belvedere SA (BVD FP) fell by 61 cents, or 2.2 percent, to 27.13 euros. The French vodka maker said revenue fell to 292.7 million euros ($375 million) from 302.6 million euros a year earlier.

Credit Agricole SA (ACA FP) fell 1.5 percent to 10.16 euros as banking stocks were the worst performers in Europe. Dexia SA (DEXB BB) fell for the fifth consecutive day, dropping 1.4 percent to 3.40 euros. BNP Paribas (BNP FP) lost 1.5 percent, to 52.45 euros. A gauge of the banking industry in the Stoxx Europe 600 Index showed a loss of 1.2 percent.
